Moon Knight Season 1 Recap
Welcome to a special edition of the Phases of the Moon Knight podcast. We have covered almost 300 Moon Knight comics since the start of the year, and have searched out and discussed dozens of spoilers, trailers, articles and rumors about the TV show.
So today we will talk about all six episodes. Moon Knight really has been everything that I could have asked for. It has characters we care about, interesting locations, drama, laughs and spectacle. More than that through this entire series has featured a weirdness, a vertigo-inducing sense that something just isn’t entirely right. There’s a lot to unpack here.

Episode 25 - The Midnight Mission
This week we arrive at present day, and take a look at Moon Knight volume 9, which premiered in summer of 2021 and is still ongoing. Mr. Knight sets up shop in New York again, this time in the Midnight Mission, from where he talks to locals and protects the travelers of the night in his territory.

Episode 23 - The Age of Khonshu
While we wait just 1 more day for the final episode of the TV Show, Dan and I dive into the Avengers and story that sets Khonshu and Moon Knight at odds with the Avengers. We’ll also take a look at an annual story that sends Moon Knight through time to recover some artifacts that will stop Kang the Conqueror. We will also talk about the passing of a comic book legend.

Episode 21 - Happy Crazy Family
Still reeling from what we saw this week in episode 4 of the TV Show, we dive into books that came right after the Lemire/Smallwood run that served as inspiration for the show called Moon Knight Legacy. These books featured a battle with Ra the Sun King, a horrific origin story that starts to explain how Marc Spector became the man he is today, and the introduction of the Societe Des Sadiques cult.
